Kildangan Seniors suffered a two point loss to Round Towers in Round 4 of the Senior League, played in Kildare, Monday evening. Played on the back pitch in St Brigids Park, a swirling breeze made for a low scoring game. The final scoreline Round Towers 7 points, Kildangan 5 points.

Towers opened the scoring with a point from a 45, following a Sean Pollard save. Stephen Quigley replied in kind, before Towers added two points in quick succession. Two more Stephen Quigley points closed the half with the sides level on 3 points each.

On the resumption Eric O'Hara put one over for Kildangan, which was added to by Stephen Quigley following a foul on Eric. Towers then enjoyed a purple patch during which they scored four points. In a low scoring encounter this was enough to seal victory for the home side, and although Kildangan tried hard the Towers defence proved up to the task.
