Kildangan GAA are delighted to be presented with a beautiful Memorial Bench to commemorate Club Stalwart Pat Kelly, who died last year. The seat was kindly donated by Pats family at a short ceremony on Monday evening 11th April. Former club chairman Charlie Sexton accepted the bench on behalf of the club and paid tribute to Pat. Charlie played alongside Pat in the 1970s and had many happy memories of Pat, who he described as a proud Kildangan Man. Pat was ever present at games and training, always keeping a watchful eye over proceedings. Present at the ceremony was Pat's nephews, Robert and John Murray who currently play with Kildangan, keeping the proud tradition alive. Pictured is Pat Kellys sister Kathleen, who represented the Kelly family at the ceremony.
