Kildangan Senior team came a cropper to table Toppers St Laurences in the Senior Football League Monday evening. Kildangan found the going tough from the start, however never stopped trying. The Kildangan half time deficit of a single point was a fair return, the goal scored by Brendan Abbey who parried a rebound to the back of the Larries net. Half time 1:04 to 1:05
In the second half the Larries enjoyed a purple patch kicking some wonderful points to race into a ten point lead. Kildangan came right back at them, aided by a Sean Francis penalty to get the deficit back to three points. A Kildangan goal by Eric O'Hara was then harshly adjudged to have been a square ball, St Laurences finished the game with well taken Goal by veteran forward Liam Miley to emerge comfortable six point winners, 2:15 to 2:09

Round 8, away to Ellistown is on next Monday at 7:30.
