Our first game in the U11 GO games was last week against Castlemitchell, and while the game was non-competitive, both teams gave a great display of attacking football. Kildangan Nurney appeared to be slightly stronger; however it was a very enjoyable first introduction to football for some of the younger girls.

Our next game at this level is against St. Laurences, Sunday morning 19th in Kildangan. John Nealon and Mary Jo Merrins are looking after this group and we would love to see more of the younger girls getting involved, it's a great way to meet new friends and get a bit of fresh air and exercise. Contact John on 086 2430522 for details.

Kildangan Nurney Under 13 team played our first game of the year against Kill, losing by a solitary point 1:04 to Kills 2:02. The girls were a bit ring rusty after the long summer holidays, however for their second game against Athy the girls had shaken off the cobwebs, and ran out convincing winners, scoring 3:08 to Athy's 1:02. Our next outing is against St Laurences, Wed 22nd.

Kildangan Nurney under 15 team are playing in Division 2 South, our second game was against Athy Saturday morning. Kildangan Nurney winning 3:14 to Athys 1:03. Athy were missing a number of players and found the going tough, playing 11 a side on a full sized pitch.
