Kildangan Juvenile Update

As we approach the mid point of our season with games in full swing at all levels Kildangan juvenile GAA continues to perform well.
Our under 9s have just completed their league playing games against Grange, Robertstown, Sarsfields, Castlemitchell and Nurney. Although at this age the games are strictly non-competitive and structured to give all children game time the team showed a huge improvement in skill levels over the year. Many of the under 9s will go on to compete in the under 10s competition - especially as numbers are likely to suffer due to summer holidays.
At under 11 level, we have completed four of our five games having played against Grange, Round Towers, Rathangan and Moorefield. Our final game in this league is at home V Ballymore on Thursday 29th June. Again the team gave a very good account of themselves in all games.
Over the summer the South Board will be organising blitzes for Under 6 to Under 8 level, we will be hosting one blitz, details will follow.

Well done to all players and mentors-not forgetting the parents who are instrumental in ensuring that children get to games on time.
