The run will be chipped and timed by Pop Up Races. It is €15 for the 5k run, and €20 for the 10k run. All kids under 12 go free (with an accompanying adult). Online registration will open soon, so keep an eye on our Facebook page & event.

Michael (Mick) is 26 years old from Eadestown Co. Kildare and is battling cancer for the third time. Michael is currently undergoing treatment in Boston as there is no treatment options available for him in Ireland. This event has been organised to raise much needed funds to help cover his medical expenses. If you would like to learn more, click here to read article written by Michael himself about his journey so far.

Mick has always dedicated his time to helping others. He helped organise Kildare’s Relay for Life which raised €30,000. Mick often visited St John’s cancer ward in Crumlin, where he was treated as a baby, with presents for the patients. He has also volunteered with the Irish Teenage Cancer Trust, Harvard’s Disability Project, assisted victims of crimes in court, and helped out with Best Buddies. Michael has dedicated his personal and professional life to helping those most vulnerable in society. Now it’s our turn to come together and help Michael beat cancer for the third time!
